Broad Street from its junction with Frederick
Road,looking towards Cross Lane and
Windsor Bridge.

A view unrecognisable from fifty years ago.All
the shops (and pubs !) on the southern side
of Broad Street have been replaced by
houses and multi storey flats as part of a
1970's redevelopment scheme.

The entrance to Leaf Square was on the left
of the picture near where the bus shelter now
stands.
