First Day at The New School. 10th January 1956.
	These two pictures are thought to be press photographs, possibly "Salford City Reporter", taken on the day that the New School at Claremont opened its doors for business.
							Pupils rushing through the doors on the 10th January 1956, although it is not clear whether the apparent eagerness is due to a keeness to learn in the new surroundings or just to escape the snow and slush of a Salford winter !
								More keen pupils queueing at the doors of the New School on opening day. The only pupils definitely identified are :- Extreme left: Ron Pybus. Front row left of the bicycle handlebars: Ian Hubbard.
