In the 40's and 50's the five basement windows on the right of the photograph were the sole natural
illumination for the woodwork room - the kingdom of "Daddy" Slack.

On the ground floor, L to R, two windows to each room,were rooms B6 - Ronnie Poppett's Geography
Room - B7 and B8.

Above B6,B7 and B8 were two chemistry labs, C4 and C5.

Just visible at the top left of the picture is a window to "Benny" Goodman's and "Satch's" art room.
