The annual competition for the Malcolm Wall Trophy was held at the Heyrose Golf Club, Pickmere, on Wednesday the 9th May 2007. There was a good turn out of twenty Old Boys and three guests. It was particularly pleasing to have two Old Sals, Claude Davies and Alan Ford, competeing for the first time. The weather was cloudy which later turned to quite heavy rain, making life difficult over the last nine holes for the later starters. This however, did not dampen the usual good spirits and banter and an enjoyable days golf ensued.
			The Autumn Meeting will be held on Wednesday 5th September 2007 at Whitefield Golf Club. We meet at 12-30pm for soup and sandwiches and further details can be obtained from Peter Collins 0161 707 4750. New members are always very welcome and are assured of a friendly and not TOO serious afternoon and evening.
