Apparently the Tennis Team were entertained by the ladies of Pendleton High School and

this picture must be a very rare photograph of Salfordians within the hallowed environs of P.H.S.

Incidentally, can anyone remember through the mists of time, the result of this tennis match?

In March 2005, the mists cleared a little and we now have it, on the good authority of a Penfordian
who played on the opposing team, that the Grammar School came a well deserved second!
