The Salford Royal Hospital Pagent was an annual fundraising event in the days before Hospitals were funded by the NHS and was supported by local businesses and organisations. The S.G.S. float is pictured in Leaf Square, outside the School, on a horse drawn vehicle belonging to J.O.Grant Ltd who also had premises in Leaf Square.
